Ms. Worl Mi Park
Owner and CEO

Ms. Worl Mi (Mimi) Park is the owner of American Federal Contractors (AFC) and has been a invaluable leader of the corporation, reinvigorating the company and providing the best service for the similarly best value to the United States Government. She is a strong advocate for female entrepreneurs in the competitive field of government contracting, particularly in small and medium sized business. As evidence of her dedicated commitment towards building AFC as a leading professional service provider at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in New Mexico; the Department of Homeland Security awarded AFC with the Small Business Achievement Award in 2014. Ms. Park is a graduate of George Washington University.

Sec. Manuel Lujan, Jr.
Chairman of the Board

Mr. Manuel Lujan, Jr. is the former Secretary of Interior during George H.W. Bush administration in 1989 – 1993. Since leaving office, Lujan has worked as a lobbyist and a public speaker. Each year, the department presents the Manuel Lujan, Jr. Champion Award to employees who exhibit "outstanding work in carrying out the department's mission." Mr. Lujan currently holds a Secret Clearance with the U.S. Government.

Bruce Schomaker
President

Mr. Bruce Schomaker is the president of AFC. Mr. Schomaker has been with AFC since its inception in 2004 and he has held various positions of increasing responsibility throughout his tenure. Mr. Schomaker has worked directly and/or indirectly – from the business development effort to contract award and execution - on every U.S. Federal project AFC has had to date. Prior to AFC, Mr. Schomaker spent 2 plus years in Seoul, Korea working for SMI Technologies, Inc. While working for SMI Tech, Mr. Schomaker’s primary responsibility was peninsula-wide sales and marketing to USFK and 8th US Army (EUSA). Mr. Schomaker’s career began as a sales/purchasing and customer service representative with K&C Technology Corporation, a small Korean-owned IT solutions/System Integrator firm just outside of Washington, D.C. Mr. Schomaker currently holds a Secret Clearance with the U.S. Government.

Young C. Lim
Program Director - Department of Defense

Mr. Lim was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in Infantry of US Army in 1972. He worked as a liaison officer with the Royal Thai Marine Corps and Republic of Korea Army. He was an instructor at UC Davis and the Command & General Staff College. His infantry assignments include a Brigade S-3 and Division G-3 Plans. Education at Black Hills State College in 1966 and a graduate degree program in History at New Mexico Highlands University in 1968. Since then, he worked for and still holds contract with the USDOS as a conference interpreter and translator.

Danny B. Bowen
Project Manager - Department of Homeland Security

Mr. Danny Bowen is the Project Manager for AFC’s Student Support Services contract at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center located in New Mexico. Mr. Bowen has more than 20 years’ experience in Government Contracting including 14 years as Project Manager on several High Security Government Support Services and Facilities O&M contracts. Mr. Bowen is currently pursuing his Bachelors of Business Management from the University of Phoenix. In addition to his undergraduate education, Mr. Bowen possesses several Technical Certifications including BOMI Institute Facility Management Training, Refrigerant Transition & Recovery Certification, Ferris State University, EMT-B Certification, State of New Mexico, and Automotive Technician Course Graduate, New Mexico State University – Dona Ana.
